Recently, there has been a push from the left to remove statues that commemorate individuals who owned slaves or supported the notion of slavery. Most of these statues and monuments that have been desecrated so far are of confederate leaders such as General Robert E. Lee and other confederacy figures of the past. Some of these leftist individuals are actually calling for the removal of monuments remembering famous founding fathers such as Thomas Jefferson, who owned slaves.
Debating whether or not this is an appropriate action taken by the left is beside the point. There is one individual who has brought death to more African-Americans than anyone else in history. This same person even tried to disguise their plot to extinguish the African-American race. This offender is no other than the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger.
Yes you read that right, Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was quite possibly the most racist public figure in recent history. Sanger once said: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.”
The Founding of Planned Parenthood
Instances such as this where Sanger shows her true intentions, we see the basis of Planned Parenthood’s founding. This institution that is currently portrayed as a saving grace for women was once founded on the idea that “inferior races” should be wiped off the face of the Earth. Planned Parenthood actually targeted black and low-income communities and as a result over 19 million black babies have been aborted since Roe v. Wade in 1973. That’s an average of roughly 900 African-American babies killed every day.
There is a reason that 35 percent of abortions are performed on black women, while these women make up only 13 percent of the population. These unproportionate numbers are no coincidence. Planned Parenthood had a plan when plotting its clinics. And yet, no one in the media wants to point this out. For many, the history of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood flew under the radar up until the 2016 presidential primaries when Republican candidate Ben Carson pointed out,
“Maybe I am not objective when it comes to Planned Parenthood, but, you know, I know who Margaret Sanger is, and I know that she believed in eugenics, and that she was not particularly enamored with black people”
“(Sanger) believed that people like me should be eliminated”
Carson did what few politicians have done before in calling out the Planned Parenthood establishment.
Margaret Sanger in Today’s Public Eye
Now, after hearing about Sanger’s beliefs, it would seem as though this would be a figure today’s politically correct society would reject. The unfortunate truth is, however, that many people uphold her as a good person and someone who actually cared about women. Margaret Sanger did not care about women, she preyed off of their unfortunate circumstances in order to push her own racist agenda.
The left is so concerned about a historic statue of a man who owned slaves but they make no attempt to erase a monument in The Smithsonian Museum honoring a woman who is responsible for the death of millions of African-Americans. The leftist hypocrites would never denounce Planned Parenthood and Sanger. This racist woman has awards named after her and museum exhibits praising her, yet nearly no one bats an eye.
If the left really wants to erase racist monuments, Sanger ought to go first.
