Free Speech is Stifled On Campus

Over the past year and a half, the American university has devolved from a space of discourse and debate into an overly-censored arena of “inclusivity.” In the name of diversity, sensitivity, and safety, campuses across the country are subjected to archaic and unconstitutional rules that limit the open exchange of ideas. Make no mistake, college campuses are no longer areas of learning where students are challenged in their ideas. Instead, campuses are liberal echo chambers where political correctness reigns supreme, and dissenting ideas are unwelcome. The First Amendment, which grants everyone the right to speak their mind freely, reads as...

CPAC 2016: Stop Pushing Trump, GOP

This article was written as a part of TCC’s ongoing CPAC 2016 coverage. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and check back regularly with TCC for more coverage! In response to the rise of the #NeverTrump crowd, Sean Hannity and Reince Priebus have been pushing Trump on the CPAC 2016 crowd. At his speech before the debate last night, Hannity shamefully said that he isn’t endorsing a candidate; however, by just listening to his speech one could deduce that he is pro-Trump. Stop Venerating the Black Panthers

In the latest dumpster-fire of a super bowl half time show, Beyonce and her backup dancers payed tribute to the divisive Black Panthers with themed costumes and gestures. This is the latest in a laundry list of racial hissy fits broadcasted by spoiled hollywood elites. I don’t care so much that celebrities and athletes alike echoed the false “hands up, don’t shoot” mantra or that they complained that the Oscars were discriminatory towards black actors. What really bothers me is that Beyonce and others would choose to venerate a group so mired in violence as the Black Panther Party....

Common Misconceptions About Guns pt. 2

While guns and gun control have escaped the forefront of the media cycle these past couple of weeks, the issue will appear again. Last month, I published a breakdown of a few misconceptions or falsities about guns. I will address a couple more in this story. The Second Amendment The Second Amendment almost always comes into play when gun control is discussed. It has been twisted, spliced, and misinterpreted by many on the left. For those who haven’t read the constitution, the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution reads as follows: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to...
