Donald Trump may have done the cruelest, meanest, most awful thing ever. He kicked a puppy, an innocent puppy. No wait, sorry, I had the wrong noun. It’s not a puppy, it’s a person. Actually, it’s a lot of persons. These persons were brought to the US illegally by their families. They are the Dreamers. The Dreamers’ status in the US is soon to be imperiled. Over the weekend, President Trump decided to repeal DACA, Delayed Action for Childhood Arrivals. DACA was enacted by President Obama in 2012, when he decided to delay legal action against those who brought...Read More

The Vatican recently released Pope Francis’ message for the 104th Day of Refugees and Migrants. As we’ve seen from this pope in the past, his messages contain a variety of moral imperatives. So what does the Holy Father think constitutes the proper treatment of refugees and migrants? The Pope’s message can be boiled down to 4 verbs: welcome, protect, promote and integrate. Welcome, “ offering broader options for migrants and refugees to enter destination countries safely and legally. This calls for a concrete commitment to increase and simplify the process for granting humanitarian visas and for reunifying families.” Pope Francis goes on...Read More
Everyone needs an evil to blame for the woes of life. In Game of Thrones its Littlefinger, for Christians it’s Satan, and for some conservatives it’s George Soros. But for today’s radicals and their media cohorts, it’s the “alt-right.” For over a year now we’ve been inundated with news reports and articles claiming to describe the “alt-right.” It’s described as white racists, neo-Nazis, neo-Confederates and more. None of these are necessarily true. The term “alt-right” was first coined in 2008, at the annual meeting of the Mencken Club. Displeased members of the Right founded this club to discuss other options for political...Read More
In a new study from an online journal, there is evidence that atheism is held as morally suspect, even by fellow atheists. Their findings include this: “across the world, religious belief is intuitively viewed as necessary safeguard against the temptations of grossly immoral conduct, and atheists are broadly perceived as potentially morally depraved and dangerous. Viewed differently, people perceive belief in a god as a sufficient moral buffer to inhibit immoral behavior.” The researchers use an example: if we take a serial murderer, is that person more likely to be an atheist or a religious person? Well, much to the discomfort...Read More
Google is continuing down its path to outright censorship of non-sanctioned ideas. We all know that YouTube and Google are run by ruthless tech guys with a leftist bent. However, they’re showing more and more just how far left they really are. The Coming Changes On the surface, Google is turning YouTube into an online version of TV. It’s becoming safe, sanitized, and cleanly progressive. However, the way it is implementing this agenda should raise everyone’s eyebrows. Collaborating with progressive NGOs like the No Hate Speech Movement, Google is trying to limit what sort of content goes on YouTube. It looks like their goal is to...Read More
